Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position is for Special Education Teachers serving K-12 students across multiple settings in Dillon, SC. The contract runs for the current school year and requires onsite work only. Responsibilities include: Managing a PreK self-contained caseload for 3-4 year olds, requiring physical lifting and activity Providing special education services in a high school resource classroom for approximately 22-25 students Potentially leading a high school self-contained classroom for around 10 students, with a strong likelihood of need Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Collaborating with general education staff and families to support student progress Qualifications: Active South Carolina teaching license with Multi-Categorical and Early Childhood endorsements Experience working with students in PreK through high school special education settings Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to on-site work for the full contracted school year Location: Positions are based onsite at schools in Dillon, SC with no option for virtual or remote work Benefits of this role include an immersive experience working with diverse special education populations and supporting students across age ranges within a structured K-12 environment.
