Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a
cooperative serving multiple school districts near Emporia, Kansas.
This full-time or part-time contracted role focuses on providing
essential speech and language services to elementary school
students across various locations within approximately one hour of
Emporia. The position is onsite and available for the 2025-2026
school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language
evaluations and therapy services to students in elementary
settings. Manage caseloads averaging 10-12 students per day,
totaling approximately 50-55 students weekly. Collaborate with
educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized
education plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate and timely documentation
of student progress and services. Adhere to all applicable state
licensure and school district policies. Qualifications: Valid
Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience
working within school settings, particularly with elementary-aged
students. Strong communication, organization, and team
collaboration skills. Flexibility to serve various school locations
within the cooperative, including districts such as Emporia SD,
North Lyon County, South Lyon County, Chase County, Madison,
Hamilton, and Morris County. Location: Positions are onsite,
located within an approximate one-hour radius of Emporia, KS.
