Speech Language Pathologist Location: Fayetteville, NC Agency: AMN Healthcare Allied Pay: $2,481 to $2,557 per week Contract Duration: 17 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Description & Requirements School Psychologist (PSY) - School - (PSY - School) StartDate: 1/26/2026 Available Shifts: 7.5 D Pay Rate: $2481.00 - $2557.00 AMN Healthcare is partnering with a top school district in Fayetteville, NC to hire a School Psychologist to work in the area, providing services to children of all ages. This School Psychologist will provide counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to the regular student population (treating mood disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skill deficits, conduct disorders) to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development. Responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issue. They will collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed. They will also coordinate outreach activities that support students and families including pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, and agencies such as DCF, DMH, etc. Required Qualifications Psychologist, School NC LP (North Carolina Licensed Psychologist) Department of Public Instruction (DPI [SEA]) Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology State Certification and / or Licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working in a School Setting Preferred Qualifications Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations Facility Location The home of Fort Bragg, and the site of the ratification of the U.S. Constitution, Fayetteville, NC offers a setting rich in American history and military tradition.
