Job Description As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol - Evening Shift in Vanceboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:45 PM - 06:00 AMTue05:45 PM - 06:00 AMSun05:45 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or incidents. Follow all site-specific protocols for access control and visitor management. Assist with emergency situations as directed by site leadership and/or law enforcement. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. A valid North Carolina Armed Security Professional License is preferred. North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card required. Armed Guard Card or License preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
