Because of our growth, we are seeking a Superintendent with strong ground-up construction experience to lead projects in the commercial, education and healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every stage. What You Will Be Doing Oversee all field operations for ground-up construction projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Manage day-to-day onsite activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols. Develop and maintain construction schedules, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays or challenges. Enforce high construction standards, conduct regular inspections, and ensure all work meets Muter Construction's quality expectations. Implement and enforce company and OSHA safety policies, conducting daily jobsite safety meetings and ensuring a culture of safety on-site. Serve as the primary onsite representative, fostering strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners. Proactively identify and resolve project issues to maintain efficiency and minimize delays. Qualifications 5 recent years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction, with a strong emphasis on ground-up projects. Experience managing ground up projects in the commercial, education (K-12 & higher ed) and healthcare (hospitals, clinics, medical offices) sectors. Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting, and healthcare-specific construction requirements (e.g., infection control, ICRA compliance). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Proven track record of managing subcontractors and project teams effectively. Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction management software. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
