Job Description:
Duties: Builds new and enhances existing enterprise wide
functionalities for the Digital Platform framework. Ensures continuous delivery
of technical services. Leverages latest cloud technology platform
to ensure high-availability. Designs and develops in cloud-based eco
system leveraging AWS. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision
for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing
complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of
alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development
policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts
and management. Primary Responsibilities: • Participates in architecture design teams. • Defines and implements application level architecture. • Develops applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division. • Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and
reviews and validates test plans. • Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables. • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
or subsystems. • Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex
projects across multiple platforms. • Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and
on-budget. • Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies
for projects. • Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments
for multiple projects. • Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve
various project/technology issues. • Provides technology solutions to daily issues and
technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. • Advises senior management on technical strategy. • Mentors junior team members. • Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional
initiatives. • Develops original and creative technical solutions to
on-going development efforts. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and four (4)
years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience
performing enterprise middleware development; Or, alternatively, a Master’s
degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering,
Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a
closely related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two
(2) years of experience performing enterprise middleware development.
Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and
developing REST APIs using enterprise grade open source tools -- WSO2 ESB and
Apache Axis2.0; implementing complex MEPs using Apache Synapse and
Java; and implementing Business Intelligence applications using WSO2 BPS
(BPMN) and WSO2 BRS (Drools); DE designing and developing enterprise level
cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web services technology stack, including:
developing streaming-based solutions using Kinesis Streams, Firehose, and
Analytics; Big Data solutions using Dynamo DB and Amazon EMR; data
warehousing solutions using Redshift and AWS Data Pipeline; serverless
software development using AWS Lambda; and Object-based storage
management using S3; DE designing financial applications -- money movement and cash
management; and transferring financial data according to Open Financial
Exchange (OFX) and Durable Data API (DDA) standards; DE providing production
support and monitoring 24/7 highly available financial transaction
processing applications, including writing scripts and generating reports
using Splunk; deployments using Urban Deploy; and analysis and
