Our firm emphasizes efficiency, automation, and autonomy - no micromanagement, just high standards and ownership. The Role We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role works closely with clients to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful accounting and tax services. This is a hybrid with flexibility and responsibility for managing multiple clients and deadlines. Requirements Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP Prepare individual and business tax returns and support tax planning initiatives Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Handle payroll, sales tax, and related compliance filings Identify discrepancies, trends, and risks in financial data Communicate financial information clearly to clients and internal stakeholders Utilize accounting and tax software efficiently, with a focus on automation Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with individual and business tax preparation High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills High ethical standards and sound professional judgment Preferred Qualifications 5 years of general accounting experience 3 years of business tax preparation experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field Experience with QuickBooks Online Experience with Intuit ProConnect Benefits Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $45,000–$65,000 Performance-based commissions and bonuses PTO and paid holidays Professional, supportive work environment focused on quality and growth Why Join Us We are redefining what it means to work at an accounting firm.
