In return, we will pay you well and offer you the opportunity to go as far in your career as you want to go. -The Staff Accountant II for Grocery supports the Division Accounting group by preparing and booking general ledger journal entries, reconciling GL accounts and researching and analyzing transactions. -The senior status of this position is distinguished by intermediate-level accounting experience. -
  • Prepare and book general ledger journal entries; reconcile GL accounts and make adjustments as required. -
  • Maintain records and files of financial information. -
  • Assist in variance analysis and other financial reporting. -
  • Facilitate various jurisdictional audit and information requests. -
  • Prepare and file state, local and other jurisdictional tax returns and reports. -
  • Review and analyze various internal tax reports and ensure compliance with tax regulations. -
  • Assist in meeting physical security and internal control objectives of tax indicia and taxable product. -
  • This position has additional responsibilities. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion. -MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: -
    • Have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. -
    • Have at least 2 years of of accounting work experience. -
    • Oracle E-Business Suite experience is preferred. -
    • Be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word). -
